Who are the Friends of the
Lacombe Public Library Society?
We are a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the
Mary C. Moore Public Library. We believe the library plays a vital role in
creating a vibrant community and we feel privileged to participate in its growth
and development.
What do the Friends do?
We support our Library in whatever
ways we can. In addition to fundraising activities, we organize special events
and projects and serve as Library advocates within the community. Check out our
history (below) to learn more about our activities.
How can I get involved?
Join the Friends! The membership fee
is just $1.00 and it’s a great way to connect with others in the community who
want to help make our Library the best it can be.
The Friends meet the first Tuesday
of every month in the Library’s History Room. We welcome your involvement in any
capacity. If your schedule can’t squeeze in an ongoing time commitment, your
help with specific projects, events or donations will be much appreciated.
