Library Membership Policies          

 Yearly memberships are $15.00 per person or per household (Lacombe residents only).

The following information is required to apply for a membership:

• Name
• Current Address
• Current Telephone Number
• Legal Land Description (for Lacombe County residents only)

This information is collected as contact information for reserve notification.

Patrons must show their library card to sign out materials.

Patrons are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card.

The standard loan period for books is 3 weeks. All other items are loaned for 1 week.

Borrowing limit for books and magazines is 50 items. For audio-visual materials the limit is 10.

Fines for overdue materials are 25¢ per item, per day late. The maximum limit is the list price for each item. The replacement cost for lost items is the list price plus a processing fee.

If fines reach $10.00, the account will be frozen until the fines are paid.
